Private & family events

Private events & family simchas

From a Shabbos lunch for twenty to a bar mitzvah for two hundred.

Family events run on people, not on a plan. Somebody has to be at the grill, somebody has to refill the water glasses, and somebody has to notice the kids table before it turns into a situation.

We staff private events and family simchas with cooks, servers and bartenders who work the event, not just the shift. They arrive early, they know what a shekelich looks like, they know when the music gets loud and the dancing starts, and they clean up before they leave.

One call, one point of contact, one crew. If the head count moves, we adjust.

Hotels & ballrooms

Hotels, ballrooms & galas

Full service for hotel ballrooms, banquet halls and corporate galas.

A 300-guest hotel event is a different job than a 30-guest dinner. Multiple service points, staggered seating, a bar that opens on cue, a kitchen line that has to hit timing, and a captain who keeps the room moving.

We staff full-service hotel and banquet events in Ocean County: servers, bartenders, cooks and kitchen support, scaled to the room and the run of show. We work to the venue's staffing plan and to your event manager's floor plan, because in a ballroom nothing happens that wasn't mapped out first.

Corporate & non-profit

Corporate & non-profit events

Board dinners, conferences, company parties — staff that shows up in business casual and works the room.

Corporate events don't need a party atmosphere. They need people who are professional, presentable, punctual, and good with guests who are all talking at once.

We staff corporate dinners, conferences, company parties and non-profit functions throughout Lakewood and Ocean County. Uniformed or business casual, whatever your venue requires. Background-checked staff who can carry a tray through a hundred people without an accident and can clear a table without being asked twice.

If you need a run sheet and a headcount, we build both with you before the event.

The system, not a promise

Shabbos Events, Without the Panic

The kitchen is set before candleling. The floor is staffed through the meal.

Most agencies can't take a Shabbos event. Not because they don't want to — because they have nothing to offer you at 6:40 pm when the sun is going down and you still have a hall full of people who need to eat. Here's what actually happens with us:

Two servers in formal black attire standing at attention beside a round table lit by short taper candles, with seated guests softly blurred behind them.
The floor, after candleling Nobody improvises
  1. Before Shabbos — the certified catering partner runs it.

Your licensed kosher caterer sets the entire event in advance. Food prepped per their process, stations built, equipment staged, all of it finished before candleling. They hold the kosher certification and the insurance that goes with it. That's their job, and they do it properly.

  2. At candleling — we take the floor.

Our own crew arrives staffed and in place. Servers, bartenders, cooks and kitchen support. The event runs from setup through the last table, start to finish, without anyone on our side having to make a decision that isn't kosher and compliant.

  3. During the meal — nothing gets improvised.

No last-minute substitutions, no “can you just run to the store,” no half-staffed bar at 8:15 pm. The plan was set before Shabbos began. We execute the plan.

  4. After the meal — we close it out.

Clearing, breakdown, cleanup, and a handoff back to the venue. Your caterer's setup gets handled the way their process expects it to be.

The line we don't cross

We're a staffing company, and we're clear about it.

We don't cook, we don't prep, we don't hold a kosher certification, and we don't sell you a menu.

What we do is staff the event properly — and we work with licensed kosher caterers who do the food side under their own certification. Full kosher service, arranged through certified partners. Nobody has to guess who is responsible for what, and nobody has to wonder if the paperwork is right.

That clarity is the point. It's what makes a Shabbos event run clean.

Kosher coordination

Kosher Event Staff & Catering Coordination

Staff for your simcha. We work with licensed kosher caterers.

Before the doors open One point of contact

A kosher event has two jobs. Somebody has to feed it. And somebody has to run it.

We're the second one. Lakewood Staffing is an event staffing agency — cooks, servers and bartenders — and on kosher events we work alongside certified kosher caterers who hold the food side under their own license and certification.

Full kosher service, arranged through certified partners. What that means in practice:

You get the staffing of a real event staffing agency and the kosher food side of an established caterer, coordinated by one person.

  • You get a complete crew. Servers, bartenders, cooks and kitchen support for your simcha, your business dinner, your hotel event.
  • The food comes from a licensed partner. We connect you with kosher caterers who are certified, insured, and operating under their own protocols. We don't cook, we don't prep, we don't serve you a menu.
  • One point of contact for you. You're coordinating with us. We handle the relationship with the catering partner so you're not managing two vendors on the same day.
  • Shabbos events are our specialty. The partner sets everything before the sabbath. Our crew runs the event through the meal. See how the Shabbos system works

Bringing us a kosher event?

Tell us the date and the headcount. We'll tell you which certified catering partner we work with in your area and get you a number.

Tell us the date, the headcount, and where it's happening.

We'll come back with a crew and a number. If it's a kosher event, we'll tell you which of our certified catering partners we're working with, and what they need from you to hold the date. No forms that take fifteen minutes. A short call gets you further than a long form.
